When choosing a new pair of glasses it is best to check your current frame sizes by looking for the printed measurements (usually found on the arm or bridge), for example:
- 52 (mm) will represent the lens width measured in millimeters
- 16 (mm) will represent the bridge width measured in millimeters
- 135 (mm) will represent the overall length of the arm measured in millimeters
Designer models are usually available in more than one size and various colour options.
Budget models are usually only available in one size but they are more often than not available in various colour options.

In addition to this other refine options can be selected, such as price, material, style etc.
